The Baldur grain elevator is a former Manitoba Pool elevator. The elevator was built in 1927.
Baldur used to be on the CN Carman subdivision, at mile 109.0. This track was part of the package transferred to the Southern Manitoba Railway (SMNR) in 1999. The SMNR ceased operation in 2007 and the rails were lifted in late 2007 or early 2008.
The elevator is apparently still in use for grain storage.
At one time Holland Flour Mill had a mill in Baldur.
Baldur has a busy downtown area, incorporating historic buildings into a modern town. The town is the largest in the area and serves many neighbouring communities such as Glenora, Neelin and Greenway.
