On August 1, 2018 Parrish & Heimbecker announced that they were building a new crop input centre and grain terminal five miles east of Gilbert Plains, Manitoba.
This new facility, to be called Grand Plains, will have a capacity of 25,000 to 30,000 tonnes and will be served by a 154 car loop track off the CN Togo subdivision.
Grand Plains will also have a 6,000 tonne fertilizer shed.
Presumably this will replace the existing Dutton terminal, on the other side of Gilbert Plains.
