There is a large concrete grain elevator near Rosser, Manitoba just northwest of Winnipeg. This elevator was originally built by Agricore, which became Viterra, the current owners of the elevator.
In the summer of 2020, Viterra began building a new grain elevator north of the existing one, with its own loop track.
The elevator has not changed much since 2001.
Once the new elevator was opened, the loading doors on the “old” elevator were boarded up.
New Elevator
Viterra started building a new grain elevator outside Rosser in the summer of 2020. This elevator will have a storage capacity of 34,000 tonnes and will have a 134 rail car loop track.
