The grain elevator in Coleville, Saskatchewan is a former Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator and still bears the Pool logo. It was the “A” elevator in the town. The elevator consists of a central elevator with integrated annex, with a separate annex.

Coleville had at least four other grain elevators over the years:

  • Scottish Co-op elevator, built 1913ish, demolished around 1940
  • Scottish Co-op elevator, built 1940, capacity 45,000 bushels; became Pool “B” in 1948; demolished
  • Alberta Pacific elevator, built 1917, capacity 23,000 bushels; acquired by Federal Grain 1943; became Pool “C” in 1972; demolished in 1998
  • Saskatchewan Wheat Pool “A”, built 1925, capacity 30,000 bushels; demolished
