There are two grain elevators in Horizon, Saskatchewan. There is an ex Saskatchewan Wheat Pool grain elevator with annex, and an ex Federal grain elevator with its own annex.
The Federal grain elevator is recognized as a municipal heritage property. The elevator was built in 1922 and its frame-type annex was built in 1960. The elevator was acquired by the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in 1972, and operated by the Pool until 1996.
The elevator was acquired by Red Coat Road and Rail in 1999.
