The town of Magrath, Alberta currently has four grain elevators as of 2017. They include a rare Buffalo elevator and a former Alberta Pacific elevator.
Buffalo Slope
The most notable is a Buffalo grain elevator, built in 1979.
This elevator was the first Buffalo elevator built, a “Buffalo 1000”. It was built for the Alberta Wheat Pool in 1979, sold to Parrish and Heimbecker in 2000, and it closed in 2003. It was sold to a private farm and is still in use today.
Alberta Pacific
The Alberta Pacific grain elevator in Magrath still wears its Alberta Wheat Pool colours.
Parrish and Heimbecker
There is another elevator decorated for Parrish & Heimbecker in Magrath. This elevator features a wooden elevator, a red wooden annex ,and three steel bins.
The elevator was renovated in 1988 and the official opening ceremony was on March 26, 1988. The manager at the time was Harold Mosley.
Mystery Elevator
Little is known about this elevator. BIGDoer.com says it is owned by the Church of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormons).

Note the large Parrish and Heimbecker elevator and small white elevator. The white elevator was demolished on May 26, 2009. The P&H elevator was demolished sometime between 2006 and 2009.
