The grain elevator at Birdtail, Manitoba was owned by the Manitoba Pool.
At one time there were two elevators in Birdtail – one built by the British America Elevator Company and one by UGG. Both became Manitoba Pool elevators. By the 1980s only the former BA elevator remained. It was destroyed by fire in October 2008.
