The village of Antler, Saskatchewan has a single ex-Saskatchewan Wheat Pool grain elevator. The elevator has a new roof and had no “Pool” markings, although the logo is starting to show through in 2024.
The CPR rail line stopped at Reston, MB for several years before finally reaching Antler in 1900 and continuing on to Arcola in 1901. The town was on the CP Arcola subdivision until its removal in 2017.
The town reached a peak population of 171 in 1926. The town’s school closed in June 1969.
There is a small granary in a field across the highway from Antler.
