There is an ex Cargill grain elevator in the town of Wapella, Saskatchewan. This 3500 tonne elevator is fairly modern, likely built in the early 1980s.
It was purchased by Pipeline Foods in mid 2017 and will be used to store, screen and blend grains, and ship by truck or rail. The CP siding will be reinstalled in Wapella, after having been out of service for well over a decade.
The Gull Lake elevator was also purchased at the same time.
