Today
The Parrish & Heimbecker grain elevator at Bow Island can store 42,000 tonnes of grain and has a 112 car spot for loading rail cars. It was still under construction when photographed in October 2015.
Historic
At one time Bow Island had a row of at least five grain elevators (www.prairie-towns.com), including a UGG elevator and at least three Alberta Wheat Pool elevators.
1995

In September 1995, there were five Alberta Wheat Pool grain elevators and one UGG elevator in or around Bow Island. AWP #5 was near the elevator; it was damaged by high winds and demolished around 2004.
