In 1983 and 1992, the town of Claresholm, Alberta had six grain elevators – two Pioneer, three Alberta Wheat Pool, and one UGG. They were all gone by 2000 and today it has no grain elevators.

This photo from 1918 shows five grain elevators in Claresholm. The nearest elevator is lettered for the Independent Grain Company, Ltd. The second is the Alberta Farmer’s Cooperative Elevator Company #13, and the third has a large ROBIN HOOD FLOUR sign on the side.
