There is a lonely grain elevator in Dorothy, Alberta. This former Alberta Pacific Grain elevator was built in the 1920s and closed in the 1950s. It had its roof torn off during a wind storm in the summer of 2015.
The elevator was in a scene of Tom Cochrane’s “Life Is A Highway” video.

The town of Dorothy is in the Alberta badlands, about 35 km southeast of Drumheller. It is a ghost town with the elevator and two churches remaining.
