There is a large grain elevator about 4 miles south of the hamlet of Equity, Alberta. This Cargill elevator has a steel elevator and almost a dozen steel bins, for a total capacity of 28,000 metric tonnes. It was owned by Agricore before Cargill acquired it.
This elevator is located on the CN Three Hills subdivision.
At one time, Equity had three grain elevators – National, Alberta Pacific, and Western Canadian Flour Mills – but today the hamlet has none.
