The town of Milk River, Alberta has three grain elevators – two ex Parrish and Heimbecker elevators and an ex Alberta Wheat Pool / Agricore elevator.
In March 2019, work began to dismantle all three elevators.
The Parrish and Heimbecker elevators no longer handle grain, but the office still has a staff serving the area and there are chemical sheds on site in use.
The Alberta Wheat Pool elevator was built in 1970 and closed in 2001. Its two steel bins were sold to a local farmer.
