The town of Rowley, Alberta has a lot of character and is a popular destination for tourists and those who like abandoned buildings. The few residents remaining in the town and area have worked hard to preserve the town’s buildings, including the two grain elevators and the train station.
The Searle grain elevator was built in the early 1920s. It was acquired by Federal Grain and later became Alberta Wheat Pool #2.
The twinned grain elevators next door consist of a UGG elevator and an Alberta Wheat Pool elevator.
