The Louis Dreyfus Company has several Canadian locations. Their facilities are not traditional wooden grain elevators but perform the same grain storage and shipping functions.
In September 2019, Parrish & Heimbecker announced that it will acquire 10 of Louis Dreyfus’ facilities in western Canada. These included Virden, MB; Dawson Creek, BC; Tisdale, Aberdeen, Wilkie and Kegworth in Saskatchewan; and Joffre, Lyalta and Rycroft in Alberta (announcement).
