The town of Shoal Lake, Manitoba has three grain elevators:
- An ex UGG grain elevator
- An ex Manitoba Pool grain elevator
- A concrete Pioneer grain elevator
UGG
There is an ex UGG grain elevator in Shoal Lake. The main elevator was opened in 1981, around the same time as the UGG elevators in Newdale, Norman and Mariapolis. Note that it has a smaller grain elevator as an annex, likely the previous UGG grain elevator in Shoal Lake.
UGG also had a former Federal grain elevator in Shoal Lake. It was demolished some time after 1970.
Manitoba Pool
The rectangular grain elevator in Shoal Lake was built by the Manitoba Pool in the mid 1970s.
Pioneer
Richardson Pioneer owns a grain elevator on the edge of town in Shoal Lake, Manitoba. This elevator has a capacity of 39,000 tonnes of grain.
The elevator can receive 112 rail cars from the CP Bredenbury subdivision.
