The Swan River Valley grain elevator is located just north of the town of Swan River, Manitoba. This elevator is owned by Richardson Pioneer. The elevator consists of a central orange elevator with three large storage bins on each side.
The elevator has a capacity of 13,310 tonnes and has storage for more than 100 rail cars on three tracks. It used to have a capacity of 4,850 tonnes but it was greatly expanded around 2002.
This elevator is located at the end of the CN Erwood subdivision.
In mid March 2021, Richardson announced that this elevator would be replaced by a new high-throughput grain elevator with 36,600 tonnes of storage capacity and a loop track for loading unit trains of grain.
