In 1990 the town of Maidstone, Saskatchewan had at least three grain elevators:
- The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool “A” elevator
- The Pool “B” elevator
- A Pioneer grain elevator
None of these elevators exist any more.
Maidstone has a museum that features the former CN train station.
