In 1953 the town of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan had seven grain elevators handling 3 million bushels per year.
The photo above shows two Federal and one Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator in Meadow Lake in the early 1970s. By 2001 the elevators had changed significantly, as shown below. The middle elevator was the Pool “C” elevator and the “F” elevator is visible in the distance.
Meadow Lake was at the end of the CP Meadow Lake subdivision.
