In 1994 the town of Quill Lake, Saskatchewan still had a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool grain elevator, a Parrish & Heimbecker, and a Cargill grain elevator. The Cargill elevator was square and wooden, relatively modern, with two large wooden crib annexes. The Pool elevator was a composite elevator with an attached steel bin for extra storage.
Today there is a Parrish & Heimbecker concrete grain elevator a kilometre east of town on highway 5. It was upgraded in 2021 to increase track capacity and capabilities.
