There are two grain elevators in Weldon, Saskatchewan.
The first is a former Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator, labelled as Pool “A”. The cupola still exhorts the viewer to “USE POOL CO-OP FLOUR”.
The second elevator is white, lettered as POOL “B”, but with the old Searle lettering showing through the paint, and a Federal logo on the cupola.
The first grain shipped through the port of Churchill, Manitoba was grown in the Weldon area.
